I hear Santa uses magic. I want him to whip me up a 2000cc fuel injected Valkyrie with one of those fancy newfangled single-sided swingarm thingamajigs.

Mines close with 1,800 I love that bike Paul. The old skool bags and other mods really did make a huge difference in the appearance. I'm guessing the Bullet is gonna be a big problem this coming spring, was wrenching beating on her half the summer and she sputtered out on me just before the deep freeze. I hate carb issues.

a 6 speed really does not save much in MPG, but doing much over 70 mph sure would be nice to have to lower RPM's at hwy. cruising speeds to say under 3000 rpms.

I see Meathead is slimming downsizing on his list for this Holiday season? why such small displacement cc cycles? I can see having 1 or 2 for putzing around town on or off-roading though.

The Super Rat and the BMW are the 2 on the list that I have actually owned or ridden.

About every motorcycle I’ve owned, and have gotten rid of. Which is only around maybe 18 bikes or so. To pick 5, I would say
1) 1980 XL500 -nice size (cc) simple thumper w/ reasonable seat height 2) Early 70s CT70 -the bike of my youth. Used, abused, neglected that thing. Just ran! 3) 75 CR125 -lusted after that bike & worked 3 jobs during HS to get one. Worth it 4) 73 H1 Kaw triple -had an H2 to, powerband on H1 was insane. Lucky to be alive 5) 1st gen Valkyrie std w/ a 6th gear & cruise. Santa makes best bike ever better Marry Christmas & Happy New Year All
