R.I.P. John Madden. One of the greatest coaches of his generation.

I'm glad they were able to get a TV special on him out before he went.

Regardless of where he was on the field or in the broadcast booth, John Madden brought a lot to the game. Those who follow in his footsteps will have his shadow to overcome. That will not be easy.

for those that can get the NFL network or probably on other stations, watching the recent ALL Madden tribute to him just before he passed in late December surely is a MUST watch.
Too loose such greatness not only as a coach but as a decent human being is sad, but surely something we all should hope to achieve better in our lives being just a decent human being to others. I wish more of the general public nowadays would be more like John Madden lived his life.
Gee, loosing Madden, then Dan Reeves, and even Betty White all in a matter of one week lost some great ones for sure at the end of 2021. RIP!
