Well, I'm on my third Valkyrie. When they first came out I was fascinated by the bike and purchased a Tourer model. Great bike, but then my wife road on the back of a Goldwing and I ended up trading the Tourer in for a new wing. lol  A couple years go by and I picked up a standard model with low mileage. Had that a couple years and ran into a health issue and didn't ride for a while. Decided to sell the bike. I have another bike but every once in a while I would have a Valkyrie sighting that just made me want one again. I told my wife and friends that I would one day own another Valk. This past summer I found a super clean 1999 standard in black/silver that now resides in my garage. It's hard to believe this bike is over twenty years old !  I"m not getting rid of this one. It brings a smile to my face even when I walk past it in the garage.

“I am not a courageous person by nature. I have simply discovered that, at certain key moments in this life, you must find courage in yourself, in order to move forward and live. It is like a muscle and it must be exercised, first a little, and then more and more.  A deep breath and a leap.”
