Changed the oil, pulled driveshaft cleaned, inspected u joints and greased them. Greased hemi joints also. Checked all underneath for any thing that might need tightening.

I have a rake kit to install in mine plus the lubrication and maintenance items you mentioned. I have a leak in the air bags that need my attention also. It’s been cold here in Idaho (-2 last week) so I have had a hard time getting motivated. Soon. Soon.

What degree rake did you get? I wanted a 6 degree but had trouble getting one and ended up with a 5 degree. I put goldwing 1800 progressive springs in mine to bring it back level once I installed the kit. Ordered some fork extenders from Daryl. I also replaced all my air lines on mine last year.

6%. I have a Valkyrie Interstate. I was able to find only two manufactures when I researched it. I chose VTXtreme. He has a solid history building rakes for Valks. I am pleased with the build quality. 5 week lead time.

I am going to go through the “trike” Half of the trike. Only 11,000 miles and all original. There are some squeaks that need investigation. I’m sure I will find things that need upgrading and repair but overall it is in mint condition. Built by a 80 year old who rode it until he was 90. Very well taken care of.

Daryl also gave me some fork extensions. Are you pleased with the rake kit. What do you think about the 5% rake. I need power steering because of some injuries.

Sorry, I didn’t connect Daryl before my reply.

While I am happy with my 5 degree I think a 6 is better. I was getting a 6 from Daryl and things didn't work out. I was promised one date and 4 months later from that date I canceled my order and went with another builder.
