Twila and I got covid. Last weekend we started feeling bad. No breathing issues or fever just feeling blah. We both went to the doctor on Monday. Indicated by the "brain swab" we both have it. Doc left the room to call the local hospital to get us in for the infusions. He came back in and stated that due to shortages they are reserving the infusions for the unvaxinated sick. Twila and I both got the two shot Pfizer regimen last year but we didn't get the boosters. He sent us home with instructions that if either of us have major symptoms or have trouble breathing to get to the hospital right away.

We are treating with Musenex,Emergen-C,zycam and rest. Here it is Friday and we both feel much better. To be perfectly honest  I have felt worse with a bad cold. Twila was the sickest she has ever been but felt good enough to go back to work (she works from home) yesterday. Neither of us had fever or breathing issues other then a little cough caused by drainage. Honestly with all my medical issues I thought I would end up in the hospital on o2 after diagnosis. Needless to say I'm surprised how I feel.

Just found out this morning my brother Chris has it. He has flu like symptoms athat this time. I told him to go in if he has any trouble breathing.

Sorry that you and Twila got it, but at least the Vaccine did its job by lessening your symptoms. Keep getting your rest and you will get over this.

Thanks for the information and I am glad you are all feeling better.

Like you I have the two Pfizer shots but did not get the booster.

Glad to hear it appears ya'll are on the back end of it, hoping Chris has it mildly and quickly as well....

While we didn't exactly go to a COVID version of a chicken pox party, after Kali Kaelynn and my adventure through hot spots all over the west, we were really expecting to test positive, but have tested all of us and are negative.

While I'm sorry for your troubles, I must say that this sounds like very good news (the outcome, not the diagnosis).  And good news these days seems hard to come by.

Hoping to hear of a complete recovery without residual, in time.    Smiley

Well not strictly germane to the OPs post, is there a consensus of getting tested for COVID without symptoms or known exposure?

I was tested once back in April (or so) of 2021 just to rule it out while I saw my regular physician for another minor issue (I guess they just wanted to check).  But have not been tested since nor do I have known symptoms.
