We don't get much snow around my parts anymore so this is
a welcome sight today. Kids are having a blast with it.

My 1969 429 Ford LTD getting a little more Patina.

Don't forget to turn that car around so it gets toasted on the other side also.

I want to be friendly and everything, but there is no such thing as a good snow day.   tickedoff Grin

It's starting right now here (and cold as heck).  As the temp rises later this afternoon, it will turn to a nice layer of ice on top.

Good times will be had by no one.

I tend to agree. It doesn't snow here much anymore. I like it at
first then grow tired of it quickly. My Son and Daughter are loving it.

is good money though and good exercise as long as you do not over-do it and take your time shoveling by hand.

Until last winter,  a few years older neighbor lady offered me to shovel her 20x50 ft driveway is all (no sidewalks) and gave me 20 bucks per outing whether 1 or 10 inches of snow.    I think she went with another guy last winter since I think she wanted someone who could get her driveway shoveled during the day or early morning after it snowed so she could go somewhere with her SUV during the same day it snowed vs. waiting until I got home at night to do it that same day.

I bet though most 'commercial' plowing services charge more than 20 bucks per snow event shoveling.

Heck,  back in the 70s and 80s shoveling a small sidewalk for an older lady growing up she gave me 5 bucks to do it taking 5-10 minutes was GOOD money for me age 10 or so.  She always invited me in for hot chocolate or at least candy.  Pretty sure she just wanted company someone to talk to for 10-20 minutes living alone.

I had a 69 Ford LTD 2 door (with a 390, instead of your 429) that I took to KU for my Junior Year. That thing had a back seat area large enough to have all my clothes plus my bicycle ( 26 inch Sears 3 Speed) in it, leaving the trunk for other stuff. red and white

They do have a lot of room. I have had several old LTD's through
the years and bought this one from the original owner in 1991 a
retired North Carolina State Trooper. He ordered it new with the
429-4V Carolina Blue exterior with Burgundy interior.
