Ordered from megazip parts, arrived in 14 days, $71 and change.

I purchased the one below from a member of this board, I believe, for my 98. I should have switched it out when I sold the bike in 2010. It was metal and painted black.

If I could find them a $17 or even $30 I would by a couple because we all know they will eventually fail. I have been thinking about trying to have one fabricated. I had a nice black one made out of very light metal. It looked great and was on my 1998 for 7 or 8 years and was still on it when I sold it. It's pictured in my original post. I thought I had a better pic but can't find it.

I got my OEM from a fellow member here 5 yrs, ago for $65 new in package. I lined it  and my rear brake MC with a fiberglass foil blanket used on firewalls. You go to OEM suppliers like Partzilla @ $230 and Service Honda @ $198, waiting 14 days, I'd order 2x also. I think  Huh? I done the same on the MC cover while it was very cheap @$18.
