       Pittsburg Steelers announced his retirement. 18 seasons in the trenches. What 2? Superbowl wins I believe. While I am Not a True Steelers fan he was fun to watch. Thanks for some Good football mamories Big Ben! RIDE SAFE.

I knew Ben while he was still at Miami U.  He was a nice kid and fun to watch here also.  The fame and big money changed him for a while, but getting married calmed him down a lot. We knew he would leave early for the pros, but he came back to finish his degree.  The Steelers were a perfect fit, both ways.
Best of luck in your retirement Ben.

Read on article on Big Ben and before and some say even after married, he did not leave a stellar life being a womanizer and pretty arrogant/cocky to reporters and others.  Always on TV interviewing him though I would never think he was like that seemed always nice.


Now just gotta wait and see if Brady and Rodgers retires?  Brady I think will retire his wife wants him to and she wears the pants in the family somewhat I think and neither need the money from playing few more years of football.  I think Aaron Rodgers will not retire but pull a Tom Brady and Brett Favre and play 1-2 more years with another football team as well not the Packers.  Packers cannot afford him and the rest of team members Rodgers wants to have them stay for him to stick it out with the Pack. 

I do not see though Brady, Big Ben, or Arod doing commentary of football games on TV like the Mannings, Tony Romo, and Drew Breeze are doing now.   I think Romo is doing a great job at it as he should being the highest paid commentator but the Mannings not so great while Drew Breeze might be o.k. at it too new yet to know.   Howie Long,  Terry Bradshaw, and Michael Strahan do well for the most part????

That is correct.  It is my my understanding that a no motorcycle clause, under the health and safety rule, was added to his next contract.

IIR, Ben was not wearing a helmet (Not mandatory in PA) when he had his accident, and yes I believe the Steeler Org. said no more MC while under contract.

I dislike working places that tell me what to do while OFF work or how to live your life.  Then again,  I am not making millions as an NFL QB - LOL.     See no reason why he cannot ride a motorcycle while off work on his own time.

I once had a sales job thought I would give it a shot and the auto dealer had a stipulation where I MUST BUY a vehicle from them NO place else.  I bought a vehicle elsewhere after I told the business mgr. am interested in a particular car on another of their  franchise's dealer lot and he was unwilling to get it to them some 30 miles away is all.  Never told them I bought another vehicle elsewhere really NONE of their own Fricking business where I spend my money or what I spend it on.
