So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

« on: January 27, 2022, 09:24:30 AM »

Has anyone ever popped and ridden a wheelie on their trike?
I searched and didn't even see any pics on the internet so, I have to assume it's either difficult or impossible to do.   Most likely difficult to do because just about anything is possible if you're willing to risk your life to do it.  Wink
Just curious, I don't intend to try it.
I'm wondering if, it would pull to one side or another?

I was gonna post like "a harley pop a wheelie, c'mon".

Then I remembered, my girl got her 88ci fat boy trike to lift the front wheel off the ground, by accident.

Having somebody on the back seat to help the weight transfer would help.

Looking forward to hearing what your wife does to the back of your helmet when you pop it.

No doubt, weight transfer is important but, the wife doesn't ride and I think too much of my trike to get stupid on it.   Actually, I'm concerned that one tire would grab and the other wouldn't resulting in me and the trike going a direction unintended.  I do think it's possible to bring the front end up, I'm just not interested in doing it.  Cheesy

Great way to rip off the rear bodywork.  Cruiser trikes are pretty much all full/low rear fendered.

I have, although not on purpose. My daughter and I were going on a ride in our neighborhood. She had never been on a trike before and I was showing off a bit. In second great and I hit the throttle, ran it quickly up to 6,000 rpm and the front tire came off the ground. It was one of the few times I have exceeded 4,000 rpm as I’m a really conservative rider and I baby my Valks. It wasn’t huge but it sure was fun. I did have new tires, BF Goodrich TAs which are pretty sticky.

I'm sure that was fun.   Thanks for the response.
