The following one is a little long but is an interesting interview. (One thing he maintains is students are being propagandized from elementary school on through graduate school in a certain vision of the world. Only those that have experience or insight into the world causes them to say "wait a minute.") (contents quoted') The man is now 91 years old and still sounds sharp mentally, judging by some of his quips I've heard and read recently. He has one video on Youtube re. Joe Biden, among others. A good video but tells us nothing we didn't already know...good for a chuckle though.

I've said it before, I'll say it again, that man is the smartest man alive. A true national treasure.

Thanks for the link, haven't seen this one before, watching it now.

John,

Thanks for the link and post! Like with you and Serk, he is a favorite of mine, also. I've read some of his books and articles, listened in awe as he's spoken, and pondered the truths in his laser focused and accurate observations that have resonated so solidly with this humble student. I'll be using the link you provided for more perusing in my pursuit of enlightenment, as I take my place back on a couch to wait out some weather! Looking forward to that... In fact, I've already viewed another link after finishing the one you provided...

I too enjoy listening to this man!  I had no idea how old he was but knew he made a lot of sense!

I found it interesting to hear his take on the Depression in the 30's. Following the stock market crash, unemployment went to 9+% but that started to dwindle back down fairly soon. Then FDR and his New Deal, the idea being the Federal Gov't. with the WPA(1935) will help correct it. With that, the unemployment rate went as high as 25% and didn't start to recover until the end of the decade...the 30's.

Maybe someone should send AOC and her minions this information so she can see how much her New Green Deal will benefit society. The current unemployment rate has been grounds for bragging about recovery, except when studying the facts you find for the most part it only includes those looking for work, not everyone out of work. Huge difference.
