Hello everyone. I'ts been a while since I posted (seems like all of us too). Mike and I followed up with contacting Johnny's Motel again in Grand Forks, trying to get a large group ride together. Here is what we have.

Sept 8-11
Johnny's Motel
Grand Forks BC

We have reserved the balance of the motel, 23 rooms left.

As before, it would be better to hold off making reservations from those outside of Canada, till closer to the date, just to avoid possible cancellations. We didn't discuss rates or how long they will hold it for us. I would suggest we all book before the end of June.

I've already booked my room. The regular one, room 6. There is room for maybe 2-3 more people to fit!  Cool

There's a fresh group of local riders for the rest of us to meet up with.

Plan your dates now, and lets hear from you all.

Take care and all the best.

We're booked into Room #14 . Dave & Linda Milne booked into #15.
Here's the website link...can call or email to reserve rooms.

We're planning for a full-on Valhalla Rally gathering, with all the great traditional events from years past. Further details will be posted in the coming months. Expecting a good turnout...aside from the local Grand Forks contingent and other newer Valk riders from BC, there's been interest expressed from AB and other parts of Canada as well. And of course, we're really hoping that everything works out where as many of our American brothers & sisters can make it as well. Lots of time to plan....

Mixed emotions..  i need to bow out of this years Valhalla fall ride, my daughter picked that weekend to get married.  No chance i can pass that up.  Possibly see a few of you on the roads this summer or possibly at Inzane in June.  Hope you all have a great ride this year.

Congratulations on gaining a son in law Jim. I'm sure your daughter could find a nice church and hall in Grand Forks for the wedding....and a dozen or more shining Valkyries would make a fantastic escort for the wedding party! You can tell her that your Valkyrie brothers clean up real  good, and will have their best leathers on for the day Grin

Hi all,
This sounds like a good time, so I'll do my best to attend for the first time.
Home base is Calgary.
Is there a cut off date you need to know by?
Thanks

nope...no cutoff. Just book a room at Johnny's Motel, and check back here in the coming months for updates ...will be posting a schedule of events. We've got the whole motel blocked off for the Valkyrie Valhalla Group. Look forward to seeing you there.
