Put the bike on the charger this morning with the hope that I might be able to take short ride on Saturday. After being out and about in the car today for about 40 miles, it became clear that taking a ride on Saturday is not a good idea. Big snow melt puddles and even worse, pot holes are every where. So the bike will stay in the garage for now.  Undecided

First ride of the year today. Hit 50 and thought that was all I needed for a quick ride. Had to push my bike over a icy snow drift to get if out of the garage. Did 40 miles and stayed warm for the whole ride. Tomorrow the trike might get some excercise.

Good idea to wait Tony, knowing your preferred riding area, RT 140 sucks huge potholes. Plus your wheels would get filthy.  Grin

Winters in Idaho have got to be at least as tough as Massachusetts, so kudos to you for getting out for a ride!   cooldude

Yeah one of the reasons not to ride is that the bike would need a thorough wash to remove the salt residue in the snow melt from the aluminum wheels.  And my hoses are put away for the Winter. You know I like clean wheels!   Wink
