New Zealnd women's rugby
«

I do not watch a lot of rugby. But I just watched a New Zealand women's game and holy crap they have some amazingly powerful women in full contact like I've never seen in any other women's sport. The only protective gear they wear is mouth guards and some scalp caps (like wrestling, to keep ears from being torn off).
They do the native Maori Haka ritual too. This group would make me run for my life.
(just for something different)

Always wanted to ride NZ and do the bed and breakfast thing but, I sure don't want to tick off the lady of the house. Not sure my medical insurance would cover getting whooped there.

Yup, rugby in general is not a sport for the weak.... I'd love to see some of the American NFL prima donnas last one game to be honest...
I fell in love with Rugby on my visit to South Africa, still have some 'boks jerseys I picked up. Wanted to get some jerseys for the NZ national team but was worried I'd be spending too much time defending myself trying to explain the name to folks back hom...

Rugby motto: "give blood, play rugby." Some of those gals would do well in the NFL it seems.
I've watched a couple of female games and no thanks...I'll stick with tiddly winks or pickup sticks.
