I was reading on another board that Rocky Mountain ATV had a good price on MC tires. I did a little checking and found them to be very competitive. I ordered a set on Saturday and they were at my door this afternoon. Also discovered that they have a warehouse 25 miles from my house in Winchester Ky. Not Valkyrie tires but they might be worth adding them as a place to check out.

I have used Rocky Mountain ATV in the past.  Good prices, fast delivery and now I know why.  Not from the rockies  Smiley.

Had the same experience near the end of the year last year. Ordered on a Tuesday, showed up Saturday with an August date code. Said it came out of the same warehouse as yours John.

The prices fluctuate from vendor to vendor all year long. Tires are shipped from the regional warehouses thus usually no vendor carries stock unless you walk in then just maybe. My warehouse is 2 hrs. away thus I ordered from AZ distributor on Friday evening and on my back porch on Tues. afternoon. Been this way since 07' from Jake Wilson, Southwest Moto, American Motorcycle Tire, etc. Spring rebates will be coming soon or maybe not due to inflation and availability.

With all the supply chain issues my post was more about my ordering experience. I don’t even own the bike I ordered the tires for, yet. With a trip to Mississippi and to Billings on the horizon I didn’t want to be looking for tires later in the year.

I’m wondering now about the balance options and which I will go with. I don’t have any experience with any local shops or dealers in my area.

3oz of BB's in a rear car tire.

2oz in a front.

No, they don't wear away and can be reused although I just hand the fitter a ziploc withe the right weight in.

not only supply chain, but also delivery issues.  2nd time now in past few months my wife ordered a smaller item thru Amazon Prime and somehow the delivery got messed up both times.  Once the order said was delivered to my house and was NEVER received.  I checked the bushes thinking since under 1lb. and small 5x5 inch box would blow away.  I even asked the Amazon guy delivering in the area a week or so later and he does not recall a delivery a week or so ago to my house.  The tracking said delivered though so wife got online and said did not receive and Amazon sent out same item again this time was received, not costing us a dime.  Guess what, about 3 weeks later the original pkg. arrived at my doorstep, go figure.

2nd time the Amazon delivery tracking never said the item was delivered to my mother in law's house a package for her was lost in shipping somewhere.  My older mother in law never replied back to my wife's text asking if delivered, so about 1 week later my wife cancelled the missing package order since showed NOT delivered and got sent another to our house this time vs. mother in laws who is getting up there in age.   Well, 1 week later mother in law called and said 1st package was delivered to her house during that timeframe.  The deliver guy must have messed up NEVER scanning as delivered the 1st package to her house, so we got 1 free item out of it.

I know the delivery guys are in short supply and overworked, but the entire shipping processes lately have been totally messed up, at least for us, in a good way, getting a 2nd free delivery out of it on smaller less expensive items.
