Today's ride - headed to Florida Panhandle and we were riding SC 121 and then GA 121 to Waycross.

Lots of "peaches" and some pecans.  And some fires burning off some "debris".   Nice road in GA but sort of straight.

Just a reminder, the videos are taken with a Contour HD camera mounted to the windscreen.  I can turn it on and off, manually.   The Rumble videos come up on 480p but they are recored and can be played back at 1080p

Looks like a nice, relaxing ride through some purdy country. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a bug on the windscreen, though.  Smiley

Why Rumble instead of Youtube?

Thanks for the feedback and yes the bug was there almost from the beginning.  I forget to check when I stop.

Regarding YouTube and Rumble.  I have accounts in both places.  YouTube is owned by Google. I don't like to support Google, if I can avoid it.

Rumble is just as easy to use and provides a similar "path".

Plus, I sometimes record music associated with m rides (not recent but in the past).  The music I used was owned by me, I bought it.  But when I put it on the video and uploaded it to YouTube, YouTube said I could not do that.  So, what they said was, I could not allow you to see my video with music I owned.

So, Rumble seems to allow that.

For instance these two videos would not be allowed in YouTube because of the embedded music.

Todays ride,,,,   No videos.   Short trip from Perry, FL to Panama City, FL. Was to go along the coast but it was raining hard on and off all day.  Rain all the way.  Short trip.

They needed the rain down her but....   Just happens sometimes.

Apparently there's a dangerous fire between Tallahassee and Panama City, so
look on the bright side about the rain...

About the fire, that is what we were told as well.  Given the fact that the rain was so hard along US 92 that I had a hard time seeing then yellow line and the white lines and there were no places to stop.....

I'd say that the fire might have been put out.

We did see smoke and smell smoke on the way there in GA and FL.   None after Wednesday.

Sorry to say no we did not.  Just a weather and timing thing.  But we will get another chance later this month so, we will try and do it then.

Returned home today.  Little lite rain at the end of the trip.  Rural roads through GA and SC.  It was cool and we finally put on our heated jacket liners under the rain gear.  Don't know why we waited.   Worked like magic.

Total Miles for the ride - 1157. We did not get to take the route along the gulf coast due to the heavy rain fall on March 9.   It was pretty bad and, for about 30 minutes, it was hard to see the white and yellow lines on the roadway.   Luckily not much traffic.
