Its so hard to get used to the idea of not seeing a air cleaner when you open the engine compartment.They have radically modified this so that the exhaust comes out from the normal area that the intake would hold. Goes into the turbos then out and down the back of the engine on top of the transmission. The square box with the yellow sticker is the water to air inter cooler and the two tubes are connected to the throttle valves.

I thought it was weird when Ford started doing it years ago for their heavy duty trucks. It traps all that heat on top of the engine, in my mind.. But, the distance from the exhaust to the Turbo makes Turbo lag a thing of the past.
