We have reservations and are going to try and make it. The Hillbilly Ride is hard for us. Have 2 Granddaughters with birthdays the end of May and they have wanted Pool parties the last few years over Memorial Day Weekend. Think we have it figured out this year and hope to join you. This is a great area to ride. We have not been there that often but loved it when we were.

Would love to attend this ride but, this is a heavy financial year for me. Daughter is getting married (we know who pays for that) and we're about to be presented with our first grandchild by my son's wife. Add that into pre-existing priorities (wife's two shoulder replacement surgeries) and I'll be lucky to attend any rides this year. Don't think the desire to go isn't there but, we all have our limits. Hopefully next year will be better.

It's taken me awhile but I've finally gotten my 'er to where every now and then she looks at me and says: "Don't you need to get on a motorcycle and go somewhere for a few days?" Of course my answer is: "Yes Dear, I certainly do." |
