Hi, does anyone have, or are these available for a 99 Valkyrie Standard? Thinking they would be nice to have in cooler weather and rainy days

Thanks

There are various snap on covers for the big Harley style engine guards, but none for the small Valk guards I have ever seen.  And they wouldn't block much wind anyway.

The best devise for you would be Baker Airwings. They’re adjustable so you block air in cold/wet days and open to funnel in air on hot days.

Thanks! I do have the Baker Air Wings, had them since '99 on my second set and your right they are great.

I thought covers would give some additional protection in cold weather, but looks like they wouldn't do much and I haven't seen them on any Valkyrie's

Thanks

An associated subject is keeping cold air from blowing up your pants legs.

You can dress warm enough everywhere else, but if cold air goes up your legs, it's well, cold.

Longer inseam pants (just for riding), taller boots (most bike specific boots are taller than my favorite swat boots which are only 8").

I often wear military boot blousers (which are just fancy rubber bands with hooks).  You hook them up just above your boots, and roll your pants ends under them.  No more cold air up the legs.

Since I became an old man, I no longer wear traditional cut jeans, I wear relaxed fit.  But the cuffs are a lot bigger and catch a lot more air.  Which is great in the heat, but not the cold.

in really hot weather I just take the fixed piece off and put it in the saddle bag

The bakers really keep the rain off your legs, provided you are riding quickly enough

Never seen or heard of these before, I guess I need to get out more.   Undecided
