I just looked and we have folks from 18 states already signed up for this ride. I was impressed with the fine group of riders we had show-up for " The Blue / Gray Ride " last year. Look's like  " The Whiskey Run " has the potential to also bring a nice group into Bardstown, Kentucky in June.Below is a link with motel information and a place to sign up. No fees ...No registration cost...If you've got gas money and a motorcycle that can maintain highway speeds then...Bring It...LET'S RIDE  Smiley

Click the link for information.

I'm pretty sure the motel has a  72 hour cancel deal however with the rooms we've already sold and the rooms to be sold just let me know and I'll call and take care of it for you. I can get them to hold it for you until 24 hours before we arrive...Hope you make it Bob this is going to be another good one we now have riders from 18 states signed up  cooldude

Here is the agenda for this ride....friday will be ride-in day..... , there are some pretty good places to eat and if you get into town early enough we can ride downtown and look around, check with the hotel for a tourist map of the town....friday nite will be tire kicking and grinning time, this the time you get to meet old friends and make new ones..also the time to check out everyone else's bikes...better known as party time... laugh

Saturday morning we'll leave the hotel around 9 am. and head to Makers Mark Distillery, 20 miles from the hotel on some of the best country roads Kentucky has to offer, we'll pass thru My Old Kentucky Home State Park along the way, .....Makers Mark is not the biggest or newest...you might say its country style...almost like riding into someone's estate....

From there we leave for Bowling Green, Ky. heading for the Corvette Museum and factory down there.....we'll stay on scenic hwy's all the way , which is about 75 miles.......we'll stop for a bite to eat along the way.....or you can eat at the museum cafe, which I was told has pretty good food.. Smiley...the museum fee will be $6 where we will just mozy around on our own....heading back you can either turn and burn back to the hotel on the interstates or ride the back country,,your choice...in fact all of this is your choice...probably like the Gettysburg ride, we'll break into smaller groups going down and back....somehow it always works out just fine.. cooldude ..so come to this ride-in and check it out yourself....I never been on one these rides where everyone didn't have a great time....so jump on the band wagon and we'll see ya there... cooldude

Not sure yet. We will work out the details. My guess is around 2p. We'll have to pick a meeting place also. Thinking about 465 & 65 area. I'll scout it out in about 3 weeks. I'll keep in touch. It'll be like G-burg all over again.

Well, as much as I hate to do it, I have to pull out of this ride.  This year is my 25th wedding anniversary and I earlier in the year I purchased concert tickets for me and the wife to see Carrie Underwood in Birmingham.  Unfortunately, it's on June 12th.  I'd love to be out riding with all of you, but certain people/events/things take priority.  Hope y'all have as good of time as I'm planning on having that weekend with my gorgeous wife!   cooldude

Man, I am sooooooo bummed that I have to do this, but with my change in schedule, I am going to miss the ride as well.  I will not get back stateside until the Monday after.

I will not get home until the evening of the 14th.

I am major bummed!!!!!!  I was looking forward to this ride.  I was hoping that my change in work would give me MORE ride ins, but it appears that it is taking more away.

I had to miss the GOTF and now this.

Well, gotta keep mamma and the critters in kibbles and bits ya know.  Work may stink, but it is still work.......

Safe winds and everyone have a hoot....I will have to cancel my room this week. Gonna go somewhere when I get back - that is for sure and for certain.
