These ones here are out of stock from what I could see, any where else where I could get them.

14mm freeze plugs and cut the air tube off and plug the ends. Remove the pair valves and plug the tube at the air box. I do not think I forgot anything.

I'm not a big fan of desmogging, but when I first got my Valkyrie I was sure I
needed to do it, so I did  Tongue ...

There's a good article on Shop Talk about it.

http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/smog.htm

I like the look of freeze plugs, but I remember that in 2007 it was
hard for me to find the right size, so I used this article's description
of cutting the tubes off the top smog connectors, filling them with
epoxy and using them to  plug the top holes.

Here's the covers I made, based on the article, for my lower smog
holes.

Easy enough

Did you find any unwanted performance after the deamog?

None. I like the delete of all the clutter on top of the engine.

But I also have helped replace all the vacuum lines on other Valkyries,
and that's not hard either.

After I'd had my Valkyrie for several years and had gotten used to it,
I was (am) glad I didn't do all the stuff I initially got the impression
I "had" to do... I don't have a pingel valve or an electric fuel shutoff
valve or any chrome covers that make Valkyries harder to work on
and I'd be OK with my bike still being smogged.

I did get good fork springs and shocks and an Ultimate seat and
hiway pegs and stuff, I'm not anti-mod, I just like some mods better
than others, we're all different  cooldude
