I pointed the little camera backwards yesterday. Everyone met up at Brasstown Bald. When
we left, I turned on the camera. Got a few good "random" shots...

Below is a good shot of... one of the Georgia riders?

Here we all are at the gas up point, right across the street from

On the way back we tried to keep up with Stanley Steamer on Warwoman road, but
we could not. We had a good time there, though..

Did you only take pics on the way down Warwoman Rd or a little video also?...that's a nifty set-up!!

I'm a lowly County worker...I'm thinking that since Mike is a State worker and at a big University....and that the ride will be in SC, then HE should treet US??!!... Grin.... cooldude

What did you guys think about that stretch of Hwy 76 headed East towards Clayton...It's almost as much fun as Hwy 129....Sorry, but I had to let the Green Dragon loose a little...she's been penned up TOO long...I believe she runs better since Mike put the new wheel bearings in!!... Evil

Well if we are in SC there is a Jack in the Box around Clemson I'll take a couple or three Monster Tacos.  2funny

We'll shoot for the 11th... no Jack in the Box...

Would like to get some other VRCC riders to come along...
If there's interest, maybe we can get up a group, like at Brasstown
Bald. The BBQ endpoint is even on Brasstown Road (in South Carolina).
Maybe Frank Smoak will even show up from Charleston...  Grin

I'm thinking maybe we can meet in Clemson as early as possible and
hit 276 and 178 before they get filled up with crotch rockets and move
on down the escarpment where there's less crowd and we can be near
the BBQ place in the afternoon.

A SC hosted ride?  Sounds great.  Let me know if I can help with anything....  did i read right that the 11th is the proposed date?

178 is most fun!

April 11 is what we're shooting for...

There's a killer hiking trail that crosses 178 at this bridge, we used to
park on the left side of the road, and hike a mile or so up the hill
to the right and camp on tall bluff that overlooked everything...
