Well, this is different.  Looks like it should be in Tron.

Well that seat should get you to the end of a very short driveway.

Could be great for our impending geezerhoods.  Who needs a stinkin' trike?!?!?

I watched the linked BMW video from January 2017.

Interestingly this Honda video from January 2017 showed up right next to it.

https://youtu.be/3qGX3rn3s0I

I'm not really interested in riding either one but the technology is fascinating.

Whoa there Bubba.   I'm enjoying my Valkryie Trike just as much as my two wheeled Valkyrie.

Are you sure this is something you actually ride, it looks like an old arcade game. Park it in your living room and you can ride anytime, anywhere.

I think it's ugly and doesn't look very comfortable.   I'll stick with old school.

not for me, My wife said the other day why not trike the tourer, what for, for me to ride. For my short trips to town and to church activities. What is the cost to do it right? How much does it change your gas milage. I have never driven one, she also likes the can am, big bucks. I could ride and sleep and she can just drive.

Too much tech for me; I'll let someone else buy it and be the guinea pig beta tester.  In a similar vein, not a fan of all the biden focus on the "greatest threat is global warming" so we need to destroy the economy in order to focus on tech that is supposed to eliminate fossil fuels - specifically electric vehicles, via a badly worked out BBB plan.  When the B admin's "plans" have ignored all the Gordian knots, why they won't work.  Gotta think this beemer represents another solution in search of a problem.

Not to mention, I won't buy BMW anything.  Overpriced and poorly executed.  BMW is rated as the WORST bike in reliability by Consumer Reports data - even worse than HD.  You get to pay top dollar for looking well-heeled on a bike that breaks a lot.  I'll stay with Honda.

How's that for a thread hijack...

My first thought I wonder how much is it going to cost to repair.
