A few are using a Achilles ATR Sport

On my 1500 I really liked the Champiro VP1.

BUT the best I got was about 15,000 miles.

Here's a couple I've saved from previous posts here (I might use when I need one).

I run DS on 2 of my bikes.  Zeetex CT1000, and a Vredistan (sp?) Comtrac.  The Comtrac is the replacement of the Austone.  Of the 2, the Zeetex is by far my preferred tire.  I have 10K on it and NO sign of wear.  Only have 5K on the Comtrac, no wear showing.  Both mine are 185/75-16.  Lowers the asphalt rpm some, not much.

Seen lots of nice looking tires, I just can't find them in the 185 width much.  I don't want to go any wider than 195, and that size only if I have no choice.  To each their own.

I currently run a Vredestein although an older one in excellent shape. very aggresive look and a wonderful rain tire. Only reason I may change is the age of that tire even though it shows no weathering signs at all.
Jess the first link looks like it is only available in a 15" tire.

I have a Zeetex CT1000 on right now.  Some 6K miles.  Looks like it has never been on the road, and I ride mostly on ChipCoat roads which eats tires.  Yes, it is a light truck tire.  It is in the 195/65 size. Will probably buy another one when this one wears out.

Bought another Vredestein. I like the one I already have and this replacement looks good as well.
This tire weighs 17# as well so it will free up some power and fuel mileage hopefully. some I looked at were around 21-22#.
I am trying the 195/65R16 this time as well. The 205 was a super tight fit.

note the tire in the link is a 205.

Crap, I didn't know that. I got mine last October. Just like the Michelin Alpin, I liked that too and it was discontinued also.

I thought that run flats had to ride harder because of the stiff sidewall.  Does it?

(otherwise, it seems like a very good idea, and that is a good looking tire)

It doesn't seem to me to ride any harder than the other dark side tires I have used. It's my third run flat and I run it about 32 PSI considerably less than I have run in my non run flat tires.

Finally had a chance to ride my new rear tire. A Vredestein Quatrac from Tire Rack.
After a few car tires on the back I have to say this is by far the best of the bunch! You don't even know you are on the dark side. Rolls into a corner as if it was meant to be on a bike instead of a car. Quiet as a mouse and super smooth. Pressure is at 35psi right now for starters.

Hey Pappy. I saw you post that you ordered a 195-65-16, but I only saw a 195-60 available at Tire Rack. Is that the size you ended up getting, or is yours in fact a 195-65? That's the size I had planned on, but if the 195-60 is that good, I may go that route. Thanks for the update.

Yep.....it is a 60! My bad.....
Second Vredestein now and I really liked the first one but could feel that break over as you roll into a turn. With this one the transition into a turn is silky smooth.
