Is there a choke adjustment? When I pull the lever down to choke the bike it doesn’t stAy put I have to hold it down or it just keep returning to the non choke position.

One of mine does too.  After a desmog for some reason, never did it before.  I just hold it.

I think that happens when someone lubes the cable. It’s not that expensive go replace the cable

Chris....I have a brand new spare Honda choke cable. Slicker than snake snot! Just had the carbs off mine and compared the two cables and I am pretty sure the new one is easier than the existing cable.
I run my pilot settings a bit rich anyway so I jut touch the choke and done.

Yes, there is an adjustment, but it's to match the travel of all six.

But, are you pushing the choke ALL the way down? If I push it until it feels like it is set, it will come off, and wasn't really on to begin with. If I push it farther, through that initial resistance, it stays down.

Or, with a little "injunuity" you can do away with the fool choke control completely and have one that works better and will not break. Referring to the black knob and SS lever setup.

WD40 is a good metal cleaner.  And rust preventer.  Lube, not so much - dries out & gets gooey.  Use cable lube - usually graphite with an evaporative carrier.  Maybe newer tech lately.

Go to HDL or Procaliber or the like and order from the parts fisch for your bike.
