Hi, everyone!

My temperature indicator light started flashing recently, it flashes randomly but does not stay on...I can hear the fan kick in and i recently replaced the coolant...
I am not mechanically inclined but from what i have read it could be the Temperature sensor or the thermostat....any suggestions or ideas?

My assumption is yours is prior to a 2000 model. Those sensors sometimes do that. There is a work around somewhere on this site. I just ignore mine.

To eliminate the 97-99 the Temperature Indicator Unit and
change to the later Thermostatic Switch do the following.
1, Replace the Thermo Sensor in the Thermostat Housing with
the later Thermostatic Switch (item #9, part # 37760-MAV-003
on the parts fiche). You will probably have to change the
connector on the end of the wire to match the new part.
2. Remove the Left Side Cover, the Coolant Tank, and
disconnect the Temperature Indicator Unit (item #16 on the
parts fiche).
3. Jumper the Green/Blue wire on the 2P connector to the Lt
Green/Black wire in the 4P connector.
4. The old Temperature Indicator Unit is no longer needed.
