Hi all, I have just had the clutch fitted with new plates friction and plain, new double plate and new seals, new slave unit, new oil and bled through, All genuine Honda parts. but the clutch lever now grabs, its either in or out, no smooth let out of the lever. This did not happen before rebuild? any ideas. thanks

Did you soak the fiber plates in oil for a few hours before installing?

Up date.. problem solved. after all the work to get a new clutch done, which is now working fine, it ended up being aftermarket adjustable handlebar lever. it was not pushing the reservoir rod straight and sticking , which was making the clutch jerk and work in stages rather than smoothly. I fitted original ones and all is good in the world.

The original levers are strong, but narrow.  The Kuryakyn wide chrome (non adjustable) levers in replacement are very ergonomic and work well with the bike (and switches).
