Another early morning ride.

Short but sweet. My regular Tuesday morning mens group get together. No complaints about being hot. In the low 50’s this morning and completely overcast. I was really hoping for a little sunshine today. Since I don’t have a regular day job and work on the house has really slowed, I feel distress if I don’t get out and ride everyday even if it’s only errands.

Errands on a bike can turn into a chore though, seems every few minutes of riding is followed by helmet and glove removal and storage, remembering to lock it all up and taking the key with me. Then it’s back to the bike get out the gear put it make sure everything is latched so that once you mount up you don’t see on the screen that you didn’t fully latch the trunk or saddlebags. So, I do somewhat lament the days I rode with just a ball cap, shorts and a tee shirt, turn the key off and hop off to go into the store.

Forecast is calling for storms to roll in over the next three days, so I’ve got to find another excuse to go for a ride somewhere today!
