The OE Tourer
hardware says Tourer on it, but that doesn't mean your shield is original equipment, and if it has a vent I think it's not OE. Also the OE shield was polycarbinate, with a hard coating.
I think your issue is shield height, not your helmet.
Ron says OE Tourer shields were 19 inches from the top of the headlight opening to the top of the windscreen. Is yours?
Clearview makes very nice (vented or non-vented) replacement shields to fit OE Tourer hardware. And BTW, that hardware is hard to come by. Their shields are not polycarbinate, and thus easier to polish out dings, rubs and scratches.

When I need a windshield, I want the top about even with my nose sitting comfortably, not slouched and not sitting up to attention either. This lets me just look over, but still under the slipstream (helmet too). If (when) a shield gets terribly fouled (like by mud) on the road, you
must be able to see over it to see at all. But you also want to be able to slouch under it (like in driving rain). Tape a ruler (or something) on yours, sit on the bike level (and it's more accurate to shim the side stand up and put your feet on the pegs, than to have your feet on the ground, which alters seating postiion), and work out how much taller you need. And you need to do this on the seat you are keeping (or wait for it to be delivered first).
And some guys like to add little spacers to the bottom shield mounts, to push it out a little, which makes it lay back a little on top, more like a fairing and more aerodynamic; and if you want this, then it needs to be a little longer than it would be if not laid back a bit.
