Well it's snowing and blowing here in Green Bay and the storm has thunder and lightening.  I guess that's the first one of these storms for the season.  So much for any early season riding.  coolsmiley

Lotsa rain down here.  Was just up to West Bend, to see my folks, and everything was covered with ice!  Cut my visit short, so the ride home was safe.

Glad you got the snow  Grin  I'm thinkin' with the two inches of rain here, to wash away all the salt, I just might get the bike out one nite this week  cooldude

Well, we ain't outta the woods yet...  Temp just hit 31*, and it's still pouring.  The way the road department is in this area, we're gonna get 7 tons of salt per mile, if it starts to ice up...

We'll get a ride soon...  June for sure  uglystupid2

God's country, no matter winter, spring, summer, fall, but weather like this get's old after three months or better.

Late spring, summer, and fall, are beautiful for riding, but winter is a whole different animal.

We had almost two inches of heavy rain Saturday and Sunday, and I was thinkin' that maybe I'd be able to get the beast out for the first ride of the season, now that all that nasty road salt was washed away...  Then the temps began to drop, and soon everything was covered with ice.  Then, the temps dropped a few more, and it turned to snow  Angry

Everything had stopped by 10:00 or so last evening.  We were left with about an inch of crusty heavy snow, on top of 1/4" of ice...  Then they came  Embarrassed  The village snow plows, with their salt spreaders, dropping probably 20lbs of salt, for every 2 feet they traveled...  Damn  tickedoff  Now we're back to where we started.  White roads, but the white is salt!

More rain tonight and tomorrow, so maybe the temps will stay warm enough that we don't need another application of salt.

Glad ta see ya got some wind Timbr.  I'm thinkin' I'm gonna need ta hook up with you two, for another great breakfast, and maybe sooner than the Fall Color Ride  cooldude
