for surgery has been mentioned.
Last time talking with the Dr he kept mentioning the left ear and I kept correcting him, its the right ear. So, yesterday I had one of the nurses [ I love nurses, not so much Drs] magic marker very heavily the right ear. All the nurses seemed to enjoy taking their turn.

It must have worked, it was the right ear that he butchered. The Dr seemed mad because of the wait time for the lab results after each cut.

This has been going on for almost 8 years, and, once again I'm told I'm cancer free. I've heard that before so time will tell.

Skin cancer?  I've had some MOHS surgery three times. (Basil or Squamous cell)

They took a chunk of my poor dad's ear off for the same thing.

It wasn't so bad, but some of the poor people in the waiting room had very bad things needing cut off (or already partially cut off with bloody bandages) (like a guy with a volcano growing out of his bald head).  The experience of seeing that in the waiting room did more to make me watch and cover my skin from sun, than my own surgeries.

I had always hear that you should mark the correct area with a magic marker.  When my wife went in for cataract surgery, I offered to circle the proper eye, and maybe draw some arrows, but she would have none of it.

Can't be too careful, wouldn't wanna be the subject of a Bob River's song! (Often misattributed to Weird Al Yankovic)

SCC that started in the throat. They claim its different, but, its still SCC. I think they don't get it all so it travels.
