Michigan...Home of InZane X -XI

Oscoda, Michigan

« on: January 20, 2010, 06:26:54 PM »

....Took a trip up to InZane X ground zero ...I'm sure it will look different in July....we drove up I-75 to M-72

Got a little slippery around West Branch....but cleared up a little bit farther North...We were expecting more snow then what we were seeing...kinda bit on the mild side for Michigan in January

Headed west on M-72 ...nice road ...alot better in summer...this was a more direct route from the East side down State...normally in summer I like to ride up US-10 to M-66 and up ...

drove up M-72 to M-66 and up to Mancelona

Headed up M-88 toward Bellaire

Turned up Shanty Creek Drive....

The snow was getting a little deeper up in the hills...

The Summit was like a dead zone...I expected more people around but it was a Tuesday...

The Resort looks different in winter...

I'm sure all the snow will be gone by summer...

Still looks like a good time to me....

The roads may be wet and snowy now but can't wait till July

See you all there...

14 - 18 July 2010.

Hopefully the friends you mussed in 2005 will have recovered and forgiven by now.   Wink

Patrick and I were up at Shanty Creek last weekend and they were booked 100%. All the folks sking accounted for most of it. Thank you for getting the pictures of the roads. Man, it was beautiful up and the surrounding area last weekend.

COME ON JULY! InZane X will be soo much fun.

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.

Thanks....  looking forward to finally meeting Brian, ( GiG), and Will ( # 415 ), who I did not get to meet in 2005 when I went down in Detroit.
