Can anyone give me a source for the faux intake cones that mount on the outside of the engine ?

Those have pretty much reached unobtanium status. To the point that a guy in Poland has started recreating them, but even the recreations will set you back a pretty penny:

If you do the Facebook thing, this guy was advertising the reproductions at a slightly less (But still high) price back in 2020, might be worth pinging him to see if that's still his price:

the wire mesh screens on top really sets them off..at most grocery stores they sell the said tea strainers attached  facing each other on some wire facing each other acting to hold the tea before submersing on/with a wire handle
