they make an electric  water chiller to cool smaller to mid size room areas-it holds a roughly 1 1/2 quart of water that is chilled and passes down a screen of some sorts and a fan is behind it blowing pretty cool air out-you have to add more water every couple of hours -perfect for a small garage or living room-the 109 temp here in Dallas is just ridiculous-you really just cannot work outside. I use it at my office to help keep the waiting area cool as the door opens a lot. cooldude I bought one last year at the Texas State Fair

Larger version in Colorado were called swamp coolers. They Need low humidity to work well. RIDE SAFE.

They will work inside a house because the air is dehumidified. Won’t work in the garage. AZ is very familiar with swamp coolers.

Down here in Florida they do work although not as well as say Vegas with its arid climate. But they do bring the temp down a bit. Evaporative coolers have been out awhile and they pretty good.

As for the 63 degree temps inside, no problem, many times my ac is about 68 at night.  Wink cooldude

Had it down to 65 at times but that was a bit too cold.

We had to turn on the AC for the first time this summer a week ago.  Been hitting 90 or so.  A bit of above normal, but not unusual.  BUT it gets down into the 50's at night.  Open windows around 7-8, house cools down to nice sleeping temps by bedtime.   Had to pull up a light blanket this morning.  coolsmiley
