Just finishing the desmog and Dan marc fuel shutoff valve install and this brown/orange hose fell down onto the floor.
Where does it go?

drool tube from the bottom of air box. should be a black plug installed at the end with clamp.

It looks like the drool tube with the oily blowby color and the exact same wire clamp for the plug.
Could it have been changed and the old one left in there?

Is that the old fuel line? It looks like it has had a clamp on each end.

doesn't have an oem style clamp (for the plug) if that's an indication.

I wasn't talking about the radiator clamp but you're right, the spring clamp on bottom is not OE (your pic is).

Jess, that's a micro worm gear clamp (1/4" - 5/8"). btw you done good detective work.

Ok, mystery solved.
It is the drool tube, but its the other end of it, the end that connects to the air box. It goes from the air box to a connector that the capped drool tube is connected to.
