I know some on here don't use social media, so I wanted to introduce /re-introduce you my son Travis. He just took ownership of this '98 Standard from me. I rescued her from a guy who had let her sit out in the New York/New Jersey weather for over 10 years. She had 865 original miles with the original skins still on. Lots of work to bring her back to where she is now. Many thanks to the many wonderful people on here who provided parts, services and advice.

Travis was originally set to take her at IZ 2017. I had Rams bring both my '98 Tourer and Travis' bike to Billings. Getting the two bikes to Billings was quite a challenge (ask Rams over a beer sometime). Well, Travis and his family decided to move to remote Alaska. They recently moved back down to the lower 48 and live in Knoxville. He will have wonderful new roads to explore.

I'm looking forward to catching some good wind therapy with him.

Great pic and story!  The next generation looks like it may be taller than the first.  Evolution, I guess.   Huh?

Admittedly, I hurriedly opened this post thinking you'd found Honda's next iteration of the Valkyrie. The 1800, single swingarm, fuel injected one we're waiting on.
