The  Evil made me do it.

Lookin good Damon, Not much of a scar to set around later amd tell lies about.......

Heal correctly, quickly, & stay the 4377 off of it like the Dr says.

Trust me, the 2nd time around is worse.

I did a double many years ago, everything was going well, but 1 bone decided to get off center.       Had to re-break it.       Dat smarted even with the meds they poured into me prior.   It hurt for about 3 years.

Your panties need pulled up.

Holler if you need anything and I'll be there.

Heal quickly and keep the rest of your body busy so your gut doesn't look like mine.

My orthopedic surgeon keeps telling me that the average adult breaks 2 bones in a lifetime. No need to be above average! YOU ARE DONE !

Heal fast and make sure you get active as soon as the Doc OK's it. And yeah,Ray seems a little TOO eager!  Grin

Heal up fast....and keep moving...just not to excess...

Did you get your card for the airport??

Ti Rod in the tibia, did they do anything for the fibula??

When you are not on that leg, keep it elevated...it will help the swelling.

Prayers still being sent from NJ.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts, prayers. well wishes. and phone calls. Duct Tape and QOTFU thank you for dinner last night. That was very generous of you. We all enjoyed it. This is the first look I have had at the board since the 12th of Jan. Where we have been staying there is no cell or internet service. I would have looked yesterday but after riding five hours in the pick up all I wanted to do was get my leg above my heart. It looks as though I will have plenty of time to catch up to the club happinings. I will try and go through the posts and answer all of your ?? Thanks again. You folks are the best amd I am proud to call you friends.

The surgeon called it a spiral fracture. According to him the only thing I could have done worse would be to crush it into fragments. I broke the large bone in the lower leg a few inches above the ankle and the smaller bone in the lower leg a few inches below the knee. It is the same break that Joe Theisman so the Redskins had in the eighties to end his career. About the only difference is that Joe had enough $$ to walk away. I on the other hand will need to be back to work in a few weeks rather that the three months that the doc sggested.

Blackduck this is broken bone # 15 or 16 I have lost count. I will say that the pain from this one seems to be more intense. It may also be the fact that I am softer than I use to be. They tell me gettin old aint for sissies.

I know where you are coming from about work . I wish you only the best   cooldude However rushing back to work could do more damage and get to the point you could never do the trade you make a livin' at....A workin' man just can't win  Undecided

A "Spiral" fracture is like taking a twig and twisting it, that is what causes this type of fracture.
Ditto on doing what the Dr says, Learned my lesson about that 5 years ago. Embarrassed
I messed up my leg last week and I'll be out for about 6 weeks Angry.
I don't need the time off either, but better now vs causing more harm later.
Glad you are back at home and doing good. cooldude
Heal well and thank God that it wasn't worse. Smiley
