Any day that you ride is a good day!

Managed to check out the DC Bike Show last weekend.

The last time that I went was in 2008.

This years show was noticeably smaller, but there were still some interesting things to see.

I enjoy looking at the Classic Japanese bikes:

Suzuki 125 Stinger

Yamaha 350

Yamaha 60 (Little Brother)

Honda 175

And of course there are new offerings as well:

NT700V
New from Honda it's like a "Baby" ST1300

Honda VFR1200F
So new that it isn't even for sale yet.

This is the most innovation that Honda has shown in years.

It's a V4, like the old Magna.

I'm not interested in riding this particular model, but if Honda also puts this power plant onto a cruiser they'll have my attention.

If it wasn't for the price tag I'd like to have one of these in the stable:

Maybe Honda could use the VFR1200 to build something to compete with it.

Remember the "Good ole' days" when motorcycle manufacturers tried to out do each other and not just "copy" Harleys?

Then there are the custom bikes:

Great Paint Job!

And the Wild Rides:

This Thing Could be a BLAST!

Cool post " Fred "   cooldude

I think I'd go for the Connie 1400 before I would the V-Max and it's cheaper .

Thanks Joe.

The Kawasaki is on my list of bikes that I wouldn't mind having, But it just doesn't "move" me like the V-Max does.

The one thing that will keep me from buying a V Max is the $20K price tag.

I can add several good VALKS to my stable with that.  Of course I'd have to convince "Ginger" that I really needed more than one VALK.
