I've mentioned my nephew here before. I'm proud of the kid.

Started him with bikes when he was 10. He kept at it. He started as a racer, moto cross which was against my wishes. I would have preferred what I did, flat track or drag. But anyway, he quit after 9 broken bones and went to wrenching. He worked his way thru several big companies and lastly for years running Husqvarna race teams. He has just quit them, now works for Triumph developing their soon to be released dirt bike. Triumph building a dirt bike, ya, I know. Several of his guys went with him and he says he has full run with the company, they listen. I think it'll be interesting how this all works out. He had to move to Georgia near the head office, but, he wanted out of CA for quite some time anyway. Oops, I forgot, if you like to look, just google Steve 'Scuba' Westfall.
I know its really no big deal, it just happens to be one for me. I'm proud of the kid, he's done good.

Will the dirt bike be able to jump tall barbed wire fences?

Well, if its ridden in from the right place there won't be any fence at all.   Roll Eyes  It'll be nice to see if it would make it across the river though without drowning.

Cool story

Thanks.

He moved within an hour of the headquarters [ paid for by triumph] from CA. He has wanted out of CA since he moved there. His neighbors saw the CA license plates so he got a real cold reception, until, they found out he hated CA politics [ and more] and voted for Trump. They then blended him and family right into their fold. So far he really likes it there and he is close enough for me to go up there. I want to see one of the first prototypes.

He told me what he bought [ in CA] his house for and sold it for, also the taxes he was paying. OMG !
