After taking the air box off to change a damaged fuel line I've noticed that the clear pipe "A" , coming from the bottom of the airbox, has nowhere to go.
Surely, it doesn't fit on "B" as there's a rubber cap on the top.

I'm pretty sure that connects the air box to the drool tube under the bike (right side, capped, to drain goop).  It may go to a T fitting, with one open side with nothing connected, and the other to the drool tube.  I believe the rubber caped thing is the clutch slave cylinder (it does not connect to A).

Cap must be in place or you’ll be sucking dirty air

#19 is the small black line in your pic, should go to a "T" that connects 21 and 22

OK. Ta.

So I need to look for the "T" piece somewhere.

When working on the bike, going to a Honda part seller's microfish of the various (and many) parts assemblies can be very helpful.  Except sometimes the part you are looking for may not be in the assembly you think it belongs in.  And, sometimes, in a effort to visually show all the various parts in each assembly, they sometimes don't show the assembly how it's actually laid out in the bike, so they can show all the parts in the picture.

I use ProCaliber:  https://www.procaliber.com/oem-parts?aribrand=HOM&arian=MOTORCYCLE#

You can save these pictures, blow them up, print them, add them to your manual, so you have them with you out at the bike when working on it.

I guess that line should be disconnected from the airbox's bottom before pulling the airbox off. Or is it easier to reinstall back the way you've done it?

Is there something wrong in that picture?  Shouldn't one of the ports of that "T" be open?

This is air box, not tank vent.
