might be a strange question but does anyone know anything about this 2001 Valkyrie that is on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-Honda-Valkyrie-1500_W0QQitemZ220545083751QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_motorcycles?hash=item335982e967

Its a nice looking Valkyrie but seems to have been listed forever (certainly multiple listings).

I've seen the listing multiple times also but I believe it's the almost $12,000 price the seller is hoping for is the reason. It may be worth it but there are a lot of other Valkyrie options out there for less money. Could be the only quick way up getting a set of Hardchrome pipes though!

I really like the look of this Valk, but I'm not sure about the horizontal detail (pin strip? molding?) across the tank, under the Valkyrie logo...

My guess is it is a vinyl pin stripe that would peel right off.

Yeah, the price is ridiculous that's why.
