And here I sit with nothing but cake - home made banana walnut! Might run into you at Central Market later? They have pretty wonderful store bought. You pay for it all one way or the other anyway.

If you eat a lot of pie on March 14th, you will become rounded, too.

(Sorry, couldn't help it... Ya'll hear about the math professor who was arrested while drinking some wine? They charged him with drinking and deriving...)

Yup!  I observed National Pie Day.  I even got into a Facebook scuffle about whether it was National Pie Day or National Pi Day (which I also observe, because - hey, what's wrong with more pie?).

Thanks for thinking of me, fellas!  Of course, in those countries who use the DD/MM/YYYY date convention, July 22 (22/7) is ALSO observed as National Pi Approximation day.  I think I'll celebrate that one, too, for good measure.

Also, I used to eat at the engineering cafe on the ground floor of the Transportation Engineering building at A&M.  It was called .......... (wait for it) ... Pie Are Square.  Yup, I was damaged before I even had a chance.

Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel from coast to coast without seeing anything. - Charles Kuralt
