Some very rough language for a good portion so not for when the kids and grandkids are around. Father Stu, turned out to be a great job of storytelling and in this case based on a true life lived. Good cast, Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson and a very good supporting cast. I watched it on Netflix, and for the two hours I felt it was time well spent.

Have seen that listed on Netflix but haven't gone there yet.   May do so tonight based on your recommendation.   Your Christmas/Birthday present may depend on how much I like it.  Wink

good movie, saw it last night.  Mark Wahlberg did a good job acting on that one a complete turnaround from where he was at first to the end.

I watched it a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed it.  I even texted my sons and suggested they watch it.  I got it on DVD from the library, I didn't realize it was on netflix.  Another good one I watched last night was  "Where the Crawdads Sing".  Several of my son's friends worked on it, which I didn't realize until I watched the credits.  I highly recommend it.

I had wondered about the Crawdads singing. I’ll have to take a look at it.

I’ve been reading good reviews on “The Greatest Beer Run Ever”.

I’ve read the story a few times and saw a video interview a couple years ago with the guys involved. This may be worth the money and time to sit through at the theater.

Just watched it last night on Apple TV, it was well done.  Had a little political edge to it but nothing that most of us who served then didn't think ourselves.  Politicians running a war is a bad idea.

Sounds like my experience with To Kill A Mockingbird--watched the movie but never learned how to kill a bird. The only thing I know about Where the Crawdads Sing was the book was listed at #1 for what seemed like years.
