Rog and I just received the GREAT news that our son, Kenton was accepted into dive school! He's currently a ship diver with the Navy in Honolulu. He'll report for "A "school the end of March in Great Lakes then he'll go to Panama City, Fla. He's been working towards this for a couple of years.  I see a road trip in my future!

That's great news. And when he lands in PC, the Redneck Riviera, he'll be about 100 miles from us.

Thanks to ALL for the kind words of support. I'm just so proud of him. He wasn't the easiest (or the hardest) of kids to raise..... he wasn't the type to "stay between the lines"..... but, I guess they look for that type of "adventure" when making the decision on who gets in.  Smiley

I made E-5 in the Navy in 4 years RJ.  Then I ran like the wind when my 6 years were up.

Of course, I was a submariner.  I can't tell if that boy is wearing dolphins or surface warfare pins, but either way... good for him.  Tell him Thanks.
