I need a rear fender segment (rear) for my '98 Standard. My dumb ass backed it into a concrete wall.  Cry  I'm having a b*tch of a time finding one. Anyone here trike their Valk and want to sell me the fender? I'd love it if it was blue and cream.  Wink But I'd settle for anything and cream!

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a black one from my old Tourer. It has a couple extra holes for a Harley turn signal setup, so they'll need to be welded closed prior to painting.

If you can't find another one closer to what you need, let me know.

Thanks for the offer. I'm hoping to find one that I don't have to do much to. Thanks for the response.

You could try calling Pinwall cycle and see if they have any rear sections.  They list at least 2 blue / cream front sections on Ebay but I didn't see any rear sections in your colors.  Maybe the rear sections have already sold or damaged and they didn't want to list.

Really? I was on there and could only find the front segment, and the few rears that I saw looked worse than mine.

I guess I'll go look again.  cooldude

I have checked most major parts places already. Thanks though!

I got referred to Oz Powersports in Kansas. They're not very good at responding to e-mail, so I called them. The guy I talked to matter of factly told me they'd have one. He couldn't give me ANY details about it other than the price... $450.00!!!! Even if it was a brand new blue and cream, I don't know if I'd pay that.  Undecided

I assumed that repaint was in order, but if your looking for that specific color then there are probably few if any.

my bad, your right, they are mostly front half sections. Back half must be a bullseye.

My experience with Pinwall is... calling the is the way to go.  They have stuff that is not on line (or you can't find it on line).

Auto junkyards have national networks to look for parts.  There are lots of bike salvage yards, but I'm not sure if they have national networks.

The Valk rear fenders have upper and lower halfs, not back halfs.

Pictures are a very good idea before ordering, but all salvage yards will not send them.  I got a deeply scraped up bag lid they told me was very serviceable.  Well, it was a good serviceable bag lid, but $300 in body work and paint was necessary before I put it on my bike.   Angry

Where did you get the 'upper and lower' terms from? OEM parts refer to those items as  Set A or Set B

I’m your huckleberry!  I am bobbing my ‘98 Valkyrie and have a maroon and cream fender along with many other parts in absolutely excellent condition if you cannot find your original color.

The guy I've been "talking" to said all he needed was a box to ship me a fender, and now I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks. Also says it has a dent in it and some scratches.  Lips Sealed  How much do you want for the rear half of the fender? Or the rear half and the turn signals?

I'm definitely interested if the price is right.

I crashed my blue and cream. The rear fender was not damaged. The bike was totaled and was picked up by Cranky Ape. Buy it from them.
