Getting ready to put the I/S back on the road and would like to get rid of the flag pole radio antennae
has anyone found one to fit the threads on the bike?

I found mine at O’Rielly’s , they come with multiple adaptors to fit most applications.
Been awhile, I don’t remember what brand it was.

Turns out not what or where,
but who you ride with really matters

I'd be interested too. I have the whips, for radio and CB. would like to go with a stubby. If anyone could share a brand model, etc. I'd appreciate it.

Got mine at Autozone, has the name Metra at the top in small letters and what appears to be a p/n WWRM8. Came in an orange backing with a plastic cover, and as stated comes with numerous adapters.

Called a Spiral Rubber Mast, 20.3 centimeters long which essentially is 8" long/tall. I don't listen to the radio while traveling but around town it works good enough for my taste. Instructions are on the back.

I just installed this 50cal one yesterday.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096VL6T4L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Plenty of adaptors come with it so installation took all of 3 minutes. But the metal under the original antenna was a little dull/corroded so I took it back off and used black heat-shrink to cover that area.

Reception in my garage seemed no different, so for how often (rarely) I use the radio I'm sure I'll be fine. It's raining today so I didn't ride into work. I'll get a pic tonight.
