Has anyone heard of this or seen this guy's video? He advertised one on eBay yesterday - it looks very well constructed - and I bought it. Will have it in a few weeks. Hoping the installation goes well. I need it as I cannot put the bike on the manual centerstand myself (please no nasty remarks!). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUdQPe9bzOMAnd if you haven't seen my animated motorcycling music video (with sounds courtesy of my Valk) please check it out: https://youtu.be/ZDc5npzqE00All the best, Ken

It does seem to be very well built. And I checked out your animation. Pretty impressive. Not something you see everyday. Well done!

Not outrageous considering the center stand goes for $400, if you can find one.

It looks well made and I’m sure it will hold up well. It doesn’t look like the wheel comes off the ground though. That is what I use my center stand mostly for in cleaning the wheels. I also strained in pulling the bike up on the stand. I found riding it up onto a 2” board made it much easier.

I noticed that, too. I'll be curious to see how Glaser makes out with it.

I did notice it didn't lift the rear tire off the ground much, if at all, but if it helps with oil changes and other maintenance, and if I can force the tire around to clean the rim (like I can do with the front tire when on the manual centerstand) it will be worth it.
And if that's the case, maybe I could put a 1/4" board under the centerstand before using, to give the rear tire enough lift.

That's a great idea Ken. Keep us posted when you have it installed. Michael

I installed the powered centerstand a couple weeks ago. Installation was straightforward, similar to the manual centerstand. I had to relocate the smog canister between the centerstand and the right side header, and strap it in place there, no issues. While the inventor drilled a hole in the center cover panel to mount the deploy/retract button, I just left it under the seat, along with the master power switch. I love it! Here's a video of the stand in action: https://youtu.be/otw37tPTj30You can contact him through his YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUdQPe9bzOM or I will hook you up through his eBay account email. Cost was $800 + tax/shipping = $950. Worth every penny. Ken

I have a center stand on my interstate, think I paid around 500.00 many years ago, but was one of my best accessories! I roll up on a 2x6 board and then rasing the bike is easy, especially when I had a car tire which wasn't quite as tall. I carry a board incase needed on the road. Probably couldn't lift the bike with a rear flat, don't know? Wonder if this powered center stand would lift with a flat rear? Is the rear tire completely off the ground? I can't tell in the video! Very Cool!

Hi Firefighter. The powerstand lifts the rear tire about an inch off the ground. The stand's motor is pretty powerful, but with a flat tire causing the rear of the bike to sit an inch or two (?) lower than normal, which would change the geometry of when the stand would first contact the ground, I can't predict how it would react. You could send the guy a message through YouTube and see what he thinks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUdQPe9bzOMKen

I'll put this in the Classified section too ... Karol from Poland has just finished making another electric centerstand ... price is $799 plus shipping ... you can contact him at vrccusm0@gmail.com if you're interested ... I get nothing from this, I just want others to have the convenience of the stand ... and in my case the timing was fortuitous because I broke my left hip in a bicycle crash in December, and it may be a year or more before I would be able to tolerate the strain of getting the big bike on its "regular" centerstand again.
