So on Wednesday things were slow at work so I decided to take off and put on headers on my car. It was a royal pain, more so than most header projects are concerned. My arms look like they were in a chipper, but the results were worth it. Smoother, quieter, ( which is unusual), more power, more responsive and runs cooler. The stock manifolds were very bulky and kept the heat in the engine for a long time. Took all day and a few hours on the next day. Be interesting to see if gas mileage improves but cruising on the highway its better.
Put many headers on many cars and its always a mixed bag. The truck was relatively easy to do and although there was no cutting or bending and the pipes and holes lined up the space was very tight with many sharp edges.
The studs are 6mm and not the thicker studs you would normally see on a car. Reminds me of doing the exhaust work on the Valks but with less space and the studs were the same size.
The second pic actually shows a better shot of the space that you have. The top bolts on the header can only be accessed by a wrench in this space.
Was going to wrap them but they are ceramic coated the seller said didnt need to wrap them. So I decided to leave them alone since it was going to make it harder on install. Must say that the coating does seem to help quite a bit.

This is what they look like stock
