Only about 200 miles or so, but I managed to work in a Famous chili burger at Tiger Food Mart....then a scenic ride around Lake Rabun and Seed Lake...the recent rains had washed mud/gravel into the edges of the curves and water was seeping up through cracks in the pavement in many places....that kept me from having too much fun on the throttle.....
......but I did drag the ride out long enough to get in an early supper at my favorite BBQ place and I beat the rain back home....I normally don't break out the Gerbings unless it's in the mid to low 30's, but I did use them today in the very DAMP 37-42 deg temps.....Thank you Mr. Gerbing.....the old Green Dragon LOVES the cold air and ran like a scalded dog on a few of the straight-aways!!....
