Over here in the 80's we had a band called Gidea Park, which did a lot of Beach Boys covers.
My buddy was the drummer and retired a couple of years ago,at his birthday/retirement party my daughter was invited to sing with the band, the first ever female to sing with them.

At the time,Sophie was only 13 years old.She only had one rehearsal with them and you can tell at the start she was very nervous.

This is the video I took, she makes me so proud.

You have EVERY right to be proud!!

That took a lot of courage for a girl of her age to get on stage and do that performance.
Not a lot of kids that age could do it...

Congratulations on doing a good job of instilling the required self-confidence required, that was you and her mothers' doing.

I look forward to the posting of the next performance!!!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the expectation of arriving in one pretty, well preserved piece but, to be skidded into broadside at full speed, battered, bruised, and thoroughly used up, having poked the grim reaper in the eye shouting "GERONIMO"
