I need to hook up a trailer wiring harness to my bike and came across this. Looks to be a pretty clean package vs hooking up individual relays, fuses, etc.

Has anyone else gone this route and any comments pro/con ??

I went with a very similar setup to that when I added a trailer.  I liked the idea of running the power for all the extra lights directly off of the battery and through a fuse and relay only getting the signal from the existing wiring.

I have pulled a trailer with this system nearly 23,000 miles and have had no issues at all.

Not that it matters but is your setup a 4-wire or a 5-wire ??

I actually have both 4-wire and 5-wire as I have two different trailers and I set the bike up so I could use either trailer.

If you have a 4 wire trailer: go to pep Boys and buy a Hoppys trailer converter. PT# 46255. I use these on both of my bikes(98 Valk/05 Wing). Power comes from the battery and relays are triggered from taillight wiring.
